Take action against sexual discrimination and violence!

No Means No!

No Means No!

News from May 03, 2023

In today’s society, people are still continually subjected to insults, discrimination, and violence due to their gender or sexual identity. Universities are no exception. The personal boundaries of students, employees, and visitors can be violated here, too, and they can be exposed to verbal or physical harassment or assault.

Forms of sexual discrimination and violence include:
- insinuating remarks about appearance or private life
- appraising glances
- sexist remarks and jokes
- displaying, hanging or putting up pornographic material
- advances and unwanted solicitations accompanied by promises of benefits or threats of disadvantages
- unwanted touching and intrusions
- repeated unwanted invitations
- inappropriate and unwanted physical contact
And in the worst case
- sexual and physical assault up to and including rape.

The information you find via flyers available below (under 'Downloads') explains what constitutes sexualized harassment, discrimination, and violence as well as where you can find help and support to hopefully prevent them from ever happening. This website also includes information about available counseling services for harassed and assaulted people and laws against sexualized discrimination and sexualized violence.
