"Innovation Systems in Germany and China: Comparison and Collaboration" was the title of an interdisciplinary research workshop which took place in the International House of Freie Universität Berlin from November 17 until 18, 2017. The workshop was initiated by Prof. Dr. SHI Shiwei (University of International Business and Economics, Beijing), who currently stays as guest lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin, and organized with essential support of the ZDS Peking. Participants were renowned experts for this topic from German and Chinese universities and research institutions. After two days of intensive workshop activities everyone agreed that a fruitful, constructive exchange had taken place which constitutes an excellent basis for further cooperation.
