Enrollment in Bachelor's, State Examination, Erste Juristische Prüfung and consecutive Master's programs

Please note the application- and enrollment deadlines.

If you are interested in an admission-restricted undergraduate degree program or for a master's degree program in addition to your application for an admission-free program, please wait for the decision of the admission procedures before enrolling in an admission-free program.

  1. For both admission-restricted and admission-free programs and for all consecutive Master's programs, please start at the application portal of Freie Universität Berlin, or in the case of Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine at hochschulstart.de. Information on how to apply can be found here.
  2. For each program component - either a single subject or a core subject with module(s) - you will receive the result via the application portal: In the case of subjects with restricted admission, a notification of admission after successful admission, or in the case of a subject with open admission, a notification of enrollment. You will be informed separately for each study program component, in the case of admission-free undergraduate subjects usually already after one day.
  3. Within the enrollment deadline, click on "Accept study offer" in the application portal to go to online data collection (application for enrollment). If you register for a free subject, you will be forwarded directly to it in the application portal of Freie Universität Berlin. Fill out the online data collection. Click here for instructions on how to fill in the form.
  4. Please save the following documents: application for enrollment, the notice of admission/notification of enrollment, and the control sheet (not control sheet for application data)

  5. Complete the application for enrollment (either digitally - many browsers offer the "Insert text field" or "draw" function - or print it out, make the changes by hand and scan the document back in)

  6. Save all required documents individually and name them according to their content. Accepted file formats are pdf, jpeg, png, bmp, docx with a maximum size of 2MB each. We do not accept links to external storage locations or zip files.

  7. Send all required documents according to our checklist as e-mail attachments to the e-mail address that applies to you with the subject "last name, first name, applicant number" (or "last name, first name, concurrent enrollment" or "last name, first name, doctorate" in the case of concurrent or doctoral enrollment)
