Hi, I’m Ehsanullah Attiq, 24 years old, from Afghanistan. I initially studied Communication and Journalism in Afghanistan, but my education was interrupted in August 2021 when I had to leave the country. Since September 2021, I’ve been living in Berlin, a city I find incredibly interesting and open.

Now, I’m continuing my education in Communication and Journalism, with minors in Computer Science and History, at the Freie Universität Berlin. It was challenging at first, especially because I had to learn the language to attend university. But my passion for completing my studies kept me going, and here I am, working hard to achieve my goals.

I’ve worked as a peace builder, journalist, and human rights advocate, always eager to make a positive impact. Currently, I’m excited to be part of the Freie Universität Berlin Ambassador Program 2024, where I get to share my experiences and inspire others.

When I’m not studying or working, I love photography and often upload my photos to my Instagram account. Traveling is another hobby I cherish, and I hope to explore many places in and outside of Germany. I also enjoy reading books, meeting friends, and cooking delicious Afghan foods.
