For Japanese-taught classes: To take courses in Japanese, students must take a language test at the beginning of the semester at Nanzan University.

All students have to take a Japanese language course. Courses are offered for beginners, intermediates and advanced. 

Duration:

Center for Japanese Studies Program: September - December OR January - May

Undergraduate/Graduate Program: April - March

The places of our program English Asia are not available for majors of Japanese Studies. Please refer to the Institute of Japanese Studies (Japanologie) if your major is Japanese Studies

The level of the Japanese classes offered at Nanzan is six levels ranged from the beginners to the advanced, ideally for students who study Japanese studies in the affine field here at FU. It may also be possible to choose from other international courses.

Nanzan University uses the quarter system. Each quarter lasts 8 weeks. There is one exam week per quarter. Enrollment for undergraduate/graduate is only available in the fall.
