Minimum language requirement: TOEFL iBT*: 90, IELTS Academic: 6.5*, some faculties require higher scores; C1 Advanced Cambridge, C2 Proficiency Cambridge or 12 points in English in the Abitur (some faculties require more).
These tests must have been completed no more than two years prior to the commencement of your Study Abroad or Exchange program at UNSW.
*TOEFL MyBest scores is not a recognised or accepted language test. But TOEFL iBT Home Edition is accepted.
Exceptions:

If English is your first language and you are a citizen of a UNSW recognised English speaking country.
- If you have successfully completed at least one consecutive year of full-time study study at an AQF Bachelor level or higher from a recognised institution where the sole language of instruction and assessment was English (must not be more than 2 years ago).
