Attention: The exchange spot is open for graduate students and PhDs of German Studies, Literature- resp. Film- and Theatre Studies and other disciplines. Exchange students will be admitted in the German Department and the scholarship is connected with teaching at the German Department. Very good German knowledge is required. The scholarship holder has to teach 4 times a week and has to offer 2 office hours, which means 20 working hours per week. The scholarship holder will educationally be supervised and trained very well.
Additionally, two courses have to be attended in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures.
A Master degree could be obtained at the University of Michigan after the completion of one exchange year.
Additional Scholarships
The scholarship includes visa documents charge allowance, $ 12,990/semester resp. $ 25,980/academic year as well as health insurance.
