Yes, an extension is only possible from winter to the directly following summer term. Students must inform the FU Erasmus team about the extension no later than one month before the (official) end of the mobility. In addition, a written consent must be submitted by the Erasmus coordinator of the FU and the host university. The maximum funding period is 12 months within one academic year.

Yes, it is possible to combine an internship with an exchange. The prerequisite is that the host university must recognize the internship, which must be included in the Learning Agreement. The internship period must be certified at the end of the stay. Please inform us in advance if you are planning to complete an internship.

The original Learning Agreement must be sent as a copy/scan no later than one month after starting your studies abroad. An overview of all documents and deadlines can be found here.
