Recognition of Study Achievements from Abroad
As part of your PROMOS scholarship, you are required to decide about which study achievements you would like to have recognized at the FU before starting your stay abroad. This includes all credit points/ECTS that you will earn during your internship, language course, study visit or any other course. Your decision in this regard has no influence on the funding of your scholarship.
Please organize and plan this aspect of your study abroad in a timely matter.To have your study achievements recognized, please note the following:
Study Visits
Study achievements are generally recognized be the student’s respective institute/department. It is therefore advisable to consult with the responsible teachers/module coordinators at the host university about the classes you will be taking. Internships
Please contact your responsible ABV/internship office at the FU for the recognition of internships within the framework of ABV modules. More information can be found here.
Language Courses
Please contact the responsible coordinators at the Language Center prior to your stay abroad. A detailed list of recognition procedures and contacts can be found here.
Specialized Courses
The recognition of course achievements is generally conducted by the student’s study department. Please inform yourself about the recognition procedure at your institute prior to your study abroad.
