Application period for stays abroad beginning between July 1st and December 31st, 2024:

The application period for stays abroad beginning in the second half of 2024 runs from March 31st, 2024 - May 5th, 2024. You can submit your application during this period.

The application period for study abroad between 01.01.2024 and 30.06.2024 has expired. 

Two Application rounds are held each year:

1. Beginning of October – Beginning of November

This application round is offered for students intending to go abroad in the first half of the following year (the study abroad starting between 01.01. and 30.06.). The application results will be announced in January of the funding year.

2. Beginning of April – End of April 

This application round is offered for students intending to go abroad in late summer/fall (the study abroad starting between 01.07. and 31.12.). The application results will be announced at the end of June.

• Retroactive funding is not available.
