Foreign Languages
Foreign language skills are essential to anyone looking for positions on the international job market – whether in Europe or further afield. The Language Center offers courses that rely on research-based teaching methods and focus on language in academic contexts. The following languages are taught as part of the General Professional Skills curriculum: Arabic, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, and German as a Foreign Language.
You will need to register directly through the Language Center for language courses offered in the General Professional Skills curriculum. Registration via Campus Management can only be done later once the participant list has been set.
In order to take an advanced module, you will need to take an assessment test to determine your language level.
You can also learn languages on your own at the Center for Independent Language Learning or through a tandem program.
