Content and Goals

In the “Media Practices” skills area, you get both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience you need to plan and produce professional content for television and online media formats. This module lasts two semesters. First, you receive an introduction to theoretical and methodological aspects of journalistic and editorial work with a focus on moving images for television and online productions. Various workshop programs then provide you with practical experience in areas such as presenting and production technology. Lastly, you will work on producing television/online content and accompanying videos for social media as part of a student editorial team.

The module is offered in conjunction with the Media Innovation Center Babelsberg (MIZ), an institution that promotes media training and innovation in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.
