The Master in English Education program integrates field and coursework to further develop knowledge of English proficiency as well as and subject-related teaching skills. Students learn how to translate subject matter into teaching that serves all students' learning, how to meet professional standards of teaching, and how to develop the ability to sustain and grow throughout their career.
Students improve key oral and written English language skills, engage with literature and media, and learn to apply modern linguistic methods to various texts and discourses. Students acquire in-depth knowledge and instructional skills that enable them to analyse, plan and evaluate foreign language teaching and learning processes. In classroom internships, they gain experience in the professional field and thereby expand their ability to systematically reflect on foreign language teaching.
