Greetings, everyone!

I'm Karem, currently immersed in my 6th semester at Freie Universität Berlin. Hailing from the vibrant city of Lima, Peru, my academic focus here revolves around Film Sciences, complemented by a minor in Journalism & Communication Sciences. Four years ago, I made the journey across the ocean to Germany, drawn by the fantastic opportunities it offers to students from around the globe.

So far, studying here has been an absolute unique experience! The professors are incredibly knowledgeable, the campus is beautiful, and there's a whole array of extracurricular activities and language programs to get involved in.

When I'm not fully engaged in the world of cinema and communication, you'll often find me indulging in my passions for swimming, exploring the streets of Berlin through running, getting lost in the pages of books, and, naturally, enjoying the enchantment of cinema.

I'm eager to share my insights and experiences as an international student here, along with the multitude of reasons why choosing this welcoming university is a fantastic decision!
