Hello!

My name is Nini and I am a bachelor student in FU Berlin studying Sociolinguistics (Sprache und Gesellschaft) and English Philology. I’m from Georgia (country not the state!) and since moving to Berlin I’ve made it my whole personality.

I started my bachelor’s degree in Georgia, but after a year of burnout I decided to try my luck in Berlin and so far, I’m very content with my choice. Moving so far away from my family was an emotionally difficult decision, however living alone has immensely changed me as a person and gave me experiences I never thought I’d have.

I found out that I adore exploring new countries and cities so much that you can see me travelling outside of berlin almost every month. I find Freie Universität Berlin to be a place where diversity and inclusivity really blossom. I feel like I have the freedom to express my opinion in class without shame, which was a new experience for me. I especially love the passion with which my professors teach their subjects and the curiosity of the students.
