Hi everyone! My name is Sophie and I was born and raised in Berlin. After getting my Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Korean studies at FU Berlin, I decided to pursue my graduate studies here as well.

As a born Berliner there is no German city I would rather live in. Even after living here for most of my life, there are still new places to discover and explore. Food from all over the world, various museums, cool events and an abundance of parks: there’s nothing you can’t find.

At FU I especially value the experts teaching here. No matter which university department you are in, the professors are very well known in their field. This is a great opportunity to make important connections for your later work life. I also had the chance to study abroad through one of FU’s direct exchange programs and the FU scholarship PROMOS and stayed in Korea for one semester.
