BUA Teaching and Learning Opportunities
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the state of Berlin under the Excellence Strategy of the Federal Government and the Länder
Students enrolled at the four institutions of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – can attend courses offered by any of the BUA partners. Joint BUA degree programs, BUA certificate programs, specially selected BUA modules, and courses offered under the Berlin Student Research Opportunities ProgramX (StuROPX) enable students to gain broader access to existing and new courses at all four partner institutions and to get actively involved in research projects in the context of the Grand Challenge Initiatives.

BUA Modules
BUA Modules are courses that are specifically made available to all students at the four BUA partner institutions.

BUA Certificate Programs
Students at the four partner institutions can also sign up for Berlin University Alliance module packages, for which they will receive a BUA Certificate on successful completion.

Student Research Opportunities Programx
The X-Student Research Groups and X-Tutorials are part of the Student Research Opportunities ProgramX (StuROPX). These courses are designed for the advancement of students with an interest in research, thus strengthening the link between top-level research and teaching.

BUA Joint Degree Programs
