BUA Teaching and Learning Opportunities
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the state of Berlin under the Excellence Strategy of the Federal Government and the Länder
Students enrolled at the four institutions of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – can attend selected courses by at all BUA partners and participate in the research projects offered by the Student Research Opportunities ProgramX (StuROPX).
Below you can find information on the different BUA teaching formats, on how to register for the courses at FU and how to have credit points earned in BUA courses recognized at FU.

BUA Modules
BUA Modules are courses that are specifically made available to all students at the four BUA partner institutions.

BUA Certificate Programs
Students at the four partner institutions can also sign up for Berlin University Alliance module packages, for which they will receive a BUA Certificate on successful completion.

Student Research Opportunities Programx
The X-Student Research Groups and X-Tutorials are part of the Student Research Opportunities ProgramX (StuROPX). These courses are designed for the advancement of students with an interest in research, thus strengthening the link between top-level research and teaching.

BUA Joint Degree Programs
