Celebrate Pride Month by exploring Berlin’s rich LGBTQIA+ history! Join us for a guided walking tour through the queer capital of Europe, from Schöneberg to Kreuzberg, discovering hidden stories, iconic figures, and historic landmarks.
Step into Berlin’s vibrant queer history with this immersive walking tour! From the roaring 1920s and the world’s first gay rights movement to the resilience of the community through different eras, we’ll visit Mitte, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, and other key locations. Learn about iconic figures like Christopher Isherwood, discover historic bars and bookshops, and reflect at the Memorial to Homosexual Victims of National Socialism. Whether you’re new to Berlin or a longtime resident, this tour will give you a unique insight into the city’s LGBTQIA+ past and present.
What to expect:
- Explore Berlin’s LGBTQIA+ history and culture
- Visit Mitte, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, and historic queer landmarks
- Hear stories of queer pioneers and activists
A public transport AB ticket is required (AB day pass, Kleingruppenkarte, or student semester ticket a.k.a Deutschlandticket).
The tour is wheelchair accessible.
Students need to pay 30% of the ticket costs, which depending on the number of participants will amount to about 3 - 7 euros.
Comfortable shoes and an umbrella (just in case) are a must.
