As part of FAPESP Week Germany, researchers from the Brazilian state of São Paulo and Germany will discuss current research issues and opportunities for cooperation at Freie Universität Berlin on March 25 and 26, 2025. The conference will be opened by the President of Freie Universität Berlin and spokesperson for the Berlin University Alliance, Professor Günter M. Ziegler. Professor Sérgio Costa from the Institute for Latin American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, Christian Lazar, head of the FU's liaison office in São Paulo, and Nora Jacobs, advisor for strategic partnerships and networks in the Department of International Affairs at Freie Universität, will explain why research cooperation with FAPESP, the research funding organization of the Brazilian state of São Paulo, offers great opportunities.
