What do you miss from your time at Freie Universität Berlin (people, places, special features)?

I was overwhelmed by the welcoming and friendly atmosphere and the easy going processes at the FU.
I am very thankful to Prof. Dr. Monika Schäfer-Korting for “adopting me” amongst her students and for giving me an opportunity to finish and defend my PhD thesis at the FU Berlin. Education I achieved here along with scientific support from colleagues at ZEBET at the Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung shaped significantly my next career growth.

Which experience, meeting with a particular person, or event at Freie Universität has special significance for you?

Where there's a will there's a way. At Freie Universität, there was always both.

What advice would you give your younger self today?

The sky is never falling...things will work out.
Stay focused, accept everything as perfect and keep moving forward toward the direction of your goals. Determination will overcome any obstacle.

If I could give my university a present …

...it would be dedicated and passionate students and teachers as well as unlimited funding.
