What special memories do you have from your time at Freie Universität?

I have many great memories and experiences of Freie Universität, that has enabled me as an Iranian to make many friends and especially two great friends from Israel and the USA. We were acquainted with each other during the winter semester of 2011/12 in the class of Prof. Dr. Harald Wenzel. We have learned a lot from him and continue to learn from him by reading his great works, which could be described by Dr. Henry Kissinger's words as follows: ”And style propels the reader into relationship with the author, or with the subject matter, by fusing substance and aesthetics.”

Recently, I met a German Professor in Esfahan, Iran, who told me that Prof. Dr. Harald Wenzel is like a sun, so maybe he will shine for many generations to come.

What is the most important thing you learned here?

Being helpful, to tolerate different ideas and people; be brief and to the point; and more importantly Freie Universität Berlin has prepared me to be a great statesman in the near future.

What advice would you give your younger self today?

I would hug myself and congratulate myself and would tell myself: ”You did great, Amir, I love you.”
