MyoGrad - the International Research Training Group for Myology - announces a new call for applications for Doctoral candidates. Partner institutions are the Freie Universität Berlin, the Medical Faculty Charité in Berlin and University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (Paris VI).

Students accepted by MyoGrad will conduct a bi-nationally supervised doctoral thesis (co-tutelle de thèse) within one of the 9 projects of the training group. They will enroll in both Berlin and Paris University (with tuition paid once) and do research work both in Berlin and in Paris labs. At this early stage of their career they will already be part of a very prestigious muscle science research community. After three years students are expected to defend their dissertation before a dissertation committee equally composed of German and French academic representatives. Successful students will obtain one doctoral degree by both universities.

The 2014 call for applications to MyoGrad is open from April 1-30, 2014.
