German Science Day for Outstanding PhD and Postdoc Candidates

A great variety of presentations, lectures, counselling sessions and a unique chance to get in contact with the representatives of leading German universities, research institutions and funding organisations at the German Science Day. Register until 3rd July.

On 16th July 2019, the DAAD is organizing the German Science Day for the eighth time. On this occasion Freie Universität Berlin will be participating with the following experts and lectures:

Dr. Florian Kohstall, Head of the Welcome@FU Berlin Initiative - Center for International Cooperation:
"Panel Discussion: Your Guide to German Universities"

Prof. Dr. Eckart Rühl, Professor of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry:
"How to enhance dermal drug delivery: Interdisciplinary Research at Freie Universität Berlin"

Prof. Dr. Michael Schneider, Professor of Hydrogeology and Head of Hydrogeology Group:
"Facing Climate Change - New Challenges for Water Management"

Hoda El Mahgoub, Head of FU Berlin Cairo Liaison Office: "Doing your PhD or PostDoc at FU Berlin"

Dr. Danilo Marino, Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies: 
"Panel Discussion: Your Guide to German Universities"

Additionally, Freie Universität Berlin will be present at the German Science Day with an infostand to answer all your questions about doing your PhD or postdoc at FU Berlin. If you are in a further stage in your research and would like to discuss your proposal/research question you can also apply for a special counselling session with our experts covering the following disciplinesChemistry and BiochemistryHydrogeology as well as the PHD and PostDoc Programs of the Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies. 

Applicants for the counselling sessions will be hand-selected and will be informed about their specific appointments by email.
