The Cairo Liaison Offices of Freie Universität Berlin, Philipps-Universität Marburg and Technische Universität Berlin jointly organize the workshop “Your Postdoc Career in Germany - Opportunities for Outstanding Scientists” to support prospective postdoc researchers. 

Prestigious institutions such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service, the Delegation of the European Union to Egypt, the Max-Planck Alumni Association Egypt, the Orient Institute Beirut and the Technische Universität München are invited to participate in the workshop.

The participating scholars get first-hand information about the funding opportunities of the participating institutions, their programs and the services each offers to excellent postdoc scholars. In addition to that, they benefit from panel discussions and designated presentations that offer valuable tips and hints on how to pursue a postdoc career in an international and competitive system.
