The Rhodes Scholarship for Germany - Information sessions

The Rhodes Trust is organizing two online information sessions (see details below). During the session, the Rhodes Scholars from Germany will cover the application process, give tips and advices, speak about life in Oxford and their experience as Rhodes Scholars, as well as why the Scholarship is unique. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A.

Some key facts about the Rhodes Scholarship:
- The Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest (first awarded in 1902) and perhaps most prestigious international scholarship programme.
- It’s a fully funded, full time, postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. It selects young leaders of outstanding intellect and character who are motivated to engage with global challenges, committed to the service of others and show promise of becoming value-driven, principled leaders for the world's future.
- There are two Rhodes Scholarship available each year for Germany.
- A Rhodes Scholarship covers: All University and College fees; the University application fee; a living stipend (£19,800 per annum for the 2024/25 year); fees for a student visa and associated International Health Surcharge (IHS), which enables international students to access the UK's National Health Service and two economy class flights to and from the UK, for the beginning and end of studies in Oxford.
- The application platform will open on the 2nd of June 2025 and will close on the 11 September 2025. Successful applicants will start studying at Oxford University in October 2026.
