This event presents an introduction to the art and industry of weaving along the silk road, over the Persian and Byzantine Empires, accompanied with a video-installation and a gallery of frequent patterns and symbols. Attendants can work with the provided materials at an elementary level and imitate different forms and technics of carpet knotting.
