FU Berlin Delegation to the National Model United Nations Conference 2020 Wins Four Outstanding Position Paper Awards

 

Unfortunately, this year’s NMUN conference in New York City – like many other events around the world – had to be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, NMUN staff have been reviewing the Position Papers submitted by all Delegations in preparation for the simulation. We are proud to announce that FU Berlin’s Delegation of Estonia has won four Outstanding Position Paper Awards!

The students have been preparing to represent Estonia at the conference since October last year and worked on 28 topics, ranging from ‘Advancing Responsible State Behaviour in Cyberspace’, ‘Forced Displacement Due to Climate Change’ to ‘The Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflict’, to only name a few.

These awards are a great success and an important acknowledgment of the hard work and high level of commitment the whole team has shown throughout our preparations in Berlin.
