Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will cover research, teaching (in German or English), and service in the clinical discipline of small and domestic animal surgery and lead the surgery unit at Freie Universität Berlin’s Small Animal Clinic.

Appointment requirements:

- Governed by Section 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz – BerIHG).

- Approbation/license to practice veterinary medicine

- Officially recognized diplomate of the European College for Veterinary Surgery, Small Animals (ECVS-SA) or the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS)
