The DFG-funded research project “Migration and adaptation capabilities, aspirations and strategies of displaced Ukrainians in Berlin, Budapest and Warsaw: A longitudinal qualitative panel analysis” investigates the migration and adaptation capabilities, aspirations, and strategies of Ukrainians who fled from their home country to Berlin, Budapest or Warsaw after the full-scaled Russian invasion on the 24 February 2022 over time. The aim of this project is to conduct every year semi-structured interviews with the same sample of displaced Ukrainians who fled to Berlin, Budapest and Warsaw. This project is conducted within the group of Makrosociology at the Institute of Sociology.

We are looking for up to two student assistants to support us in the coding and anonymization of the semi-structured interviews.
Job description:
- Thematic coding of longitudinal semi-structured interviews with MaxQDA
- Anonymization of longitudinal semi-structured interviews
Desirable:
- enrolled in Sociology or a related field
- fluent written and spoken English (C1)
- interest in the field of migration and integration
- Interest in empirical methods of qualitative research
- knowledge of MaxQDA or a related software for qualitative analysis
