The vacant position is assigned to the Department of Social Structure Analysis and Survey Methodology (Prof. Dr Stefan Liebig). The Department of Empirical Social Structure Analysis analyses how individual preferences, values, attitudes and the actions of individuals are shaped by social structures and vice versa: how individuals influence the structures of modern societies through their actions. When analysing these phenomena, we take a strictly theoretical approach and draw on theories and explanatory approaches from the social, economic and behavioural sciences.
