This seminar builds on the knowledge gained in the Seminar I - Neurobiology of Psychotherapy (Stephan Heinzel). A focus is placed on transdiagnostic approaches and emotion regulation. We will discuss emotion regulation as a clinical paradigm used to investigate the etiology and treatment of psychological disorders. Moreover, we will review and debate the concept of transdiagnostic neuroimaging markers (based on emotion regulation). Students will work in more depth on a topic of their interest related to emotion regulation and/or transdiagnostic biomarkers.”
