The module deals with general and specialized aspects of modern Neurobiology, with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary field of the investigation of both development and structure of neural circuits in genetic model organisms (mouse, zebrafish, fly, worm). Detailed insight into selected research areas will be provided (molecular neuroanatomy, cellular basis of behavior and its disruption, visualization of neuronal development using genetic tools, transcriptomics, and algorythmic growth). Knowledge about modern, relevant research techniques will be acquired and applied. One research paper will be orally presented. Schließen
