Contents:
Introduction to mutualistic and parasitc systems. Biology, life cycles, and anatomy/morphology of unicellular parasites and mutualists, animal parasites (worms, arthropods), and gall inducers on plants are discussed. Some half-day excursions for collecting material (botanical garden) and getting to know relevant institutes. Learning objectives: After completing the module, the students will possess in-depth knowledge of the biology, anatomy, and morphology of parasites and mutualists. They will be able to independently apply microscopic methods and perform preparations to detect and characterize parasites. Schließen
