At the end of the course, participants will have an advanced understanding of biotic interactions and how they change in a globalized world. They will be familiar with classic ecological knowledge and present changes in the Anthropocene. close

Dieses Modul richtet sich an Masterstudierende aus der Fachrichtung Biologie oder angrenzender Fachrichtungen. Die Unterrichtssprache kann sowohl Deutsch wie Englisch sein. Von den Studierenden können Vorträge, Essays etc. erwartet werden ggf. in englischer Sprache. Bitte bedenken Sie dies, bevor Sie sich als BUA-Studierender auf einen Platz bewerben.

This lecture combines classic ecological research questions with presently pressing questions in the Anthropocene. The main focus will be on biotic interactions (predator-prey interactions, competition, host-parasite interactions, mutualisms, etc.) and how they change in a globalized world. Interdisciplinary questions from e.g. ecological economics will be covered as well. close
