In this seminar, we address the neural and cognitive foundations of decision-making processes. We will consider different types of decision making, including perceptual decisions based on sensory information and reward-based choices that depend on the expected consequences of a decision. We focus on current theories, methodological approaches, and various clinical applications in the first part of the seminar. close
