Advanced Seminar
SoSe 23: Neurokognitiv-affektive Grundlagen - Vertiefungsseminar
Radoslaw Cichy
Information for students
We will learn about the neural basis of human visual object processing: how does the human brain translate the constant flow of neurons hitting the retina into a meaningful percept of the world consisting of everyday objects (people, chairs, cups, ...). We take the perspective of modern cognitive neuroscience.
The seminar features a mix of session types:
a) there is lots of room for your ideas (lab visits, presentation by researchers, etc)
b) sessions with short student presentations (15 min) for classical as well as recent papers,
c) lecture sessions by the lecturer (contemporary methods in cognitive neuroscience, introductions to sub-topics)
d) poster presentation design sessions on a self-chosen paper. close
