Based on the latest publications relating to the lecture of the previous week, students will discuss in the seminars held online, the contents of a recent scientific paper in light of the knowledge they previously acquired. During the seminars, students will learn to identify the novelties and significance of a recent scientific publication in light of the knowledge they recently acquired, and to analyze critically its scientific contents and design. They will also learn how to search and critically read scientific literature to prepare a presentation on a topic of their choice, as long as it is relevant to the class, and by providing (and receiving) constructive feed-back on the presentations of their classmates, appreciate the mechanisms and importance of the peer-review process in Science. close
