SoSe 23: MÜ-Medieval English Literatures: Theories of Time and Temporality

Wolfram Keller

Comments

This tutorial is meant to provide some historical and literary backgrounds for the study of the medieval reception of classical antiquity in general and for the medieval reception of narratives of Alexander the Great in particular. Given the focus on temporal and cultural alterity in the seminar, the tutorial will be focused on theories of temporality, specifically with a view to the study of premodern literatures and cultures. close
