The course aims to gain an understanding of North Korea's history and critically analyze their logic by examining primary documents. It begins by introducing the concept of archiving work, including where to find and how to read various types of primary documents such as newspapers, academic journals, monographs, novels, memoirs, and works of leaders. After reading 3-5 books and some papers to familiarize with North Korean history research methods, participants will then analyze primary documents related to their chosen research topics. The course is designed to facilitate research on North Korea with a balanced perspective. Additionally, 3~5 special lectures by guest speakers will be included. close
