In the seminar part, the topics covered in the lecture will be discussed and deepened. The seminar will be the opportunity for the students to learn practical methods and tools for performing the analysis of models. We will see analytical methods for solving linear differential equations systems in dimension 1 and 2, and in the case of the separation of variables. We will solve the system to determine the steady states. Objective of this seminar will be to give methods to understand the structural behavior of the model. This analytical study will give the basis of what we could expect from the numerical analysis of the system. During, the seminar, we will also study the syntax to perform a proper numerical integration of the system with R to simulate broad figures to illustrate the model dynamics and thus understand the processes involved in the population dynamics. close
