Artefakte aus Stein umfassen Werkzeuge und die bei ihrer Herstellung entstandenen Abfälle. Insbesondere die v.a. mit Schlag- und Drucktechniken hergestellten Steinartefakte sind die wichtigste und umfangreichste Fundgattung der älteren Prähistorie. Die LV bietet eine Einführung zu dieser Gattung und betrachtet die Bereiche Rohmaterial, Herstellungstechnik und Typologie. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der zum Verständnis entscheidenden Herstellungstechnik. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht vonnöten, stetes Nachbereiten und Studium der angebenen Lektüre dagegen schon. close
