The students are able to develop suitable strategies for the investigation of mineralogy, microstructure and chemical composition of planetary materials.

Contents:
The students learn the basics of sample preparation with a focus on impactites, meteorites and planetary analogue materials.
.They will apply spectroscopic methods to practical examples and learn the basic principles of
