Als Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) bezeichnet man den Einsatz von Maschinen für Dinge, die bisher menschliche Intelligenz erfordert haben. In relativ kurzer Zeit hat die KI die Art und Weise, wie wir Menschen miteinander interagieren, bereits erheblich beeinflusst. Vermutlich wird dies auch weiterhin der Fall sein. Die ethischen und gesellschaftspolitischen Herausforderungen durch den Einsatz von KI erfordert eine gründliche philosophische und ethische Analyse. Dieses Seminar beschäftigt sich zunächst mit den historischen und philosophischen Hintergründen der heutigen KI. Darauf aufbauend werden wir uns mit ausgewählten Themen der Ethik der KI befassen. Dazu gehören beispielsweise folgende Fragen: Können KI-Systeme Bewusstsein haben? Welcher moralische Status kommt ihnen zu? Wie können sie „moralisch“ gestaltet werden? close
