Comments
This course aims to familiarize students with the quantitative measurement of diverse social
constructs (for example racism, sexism and social class) in European social science research. It introduces students to relevant literature on social constructs and inequalities in Europe and encourages them to explore the associated research methods like survey and text analysis and ways to analyze the data. Additionally, students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical experience in implementing various measurement techniques for different constructs using R.
