The seminar aims to provide an insight into the diverse topics of gender and diversity research within the field of computer science. We will analytically examine instances of inequality, discrimination, and exclusion mechanisms throughout the history and professional culture of computer science, the development of technical artifacts and IT systems and their use.

Additionally, we will engage in a discussion of various approaches aimed at addressing and transforming these issues.
