Additional information / Pre-requisites
The course contains lecture, practicals, and an excursion to the Ries Crater in Nördlingen (27.-29.09).
The course will be taking place as block course in Berlin Naturkundesmuseum. The Lecturers will indicate the room at the beginning the semester.

Students will gain principle understanding of impact processes as a fundamental process on all planets in the solar system: Crater formation, shock wave physics and metemorphism, impact rocks and meteorites.
