The small but economically powerful states of the Persian Gulf that some have started to lable as the Arabian Gulf, are significant in many ways. Manifold initiatives for the post-oil future as well as specific designs for their own Arab-Islamic or otherwise framed pasts are in lively exchange with broader regional and global developments. The MA seminar examines these phenomena from different perspectives. close
