FU-Notifications 7/2024 dated 18.03.2024: SPO
This introduction to human geography shows how complex questions about globalization processes and social transformation can be systematically explored using theory-based approaches. Using central concepts of human geography, students critically examine various spatial aspects of cultural, economic and social phenomena. The above-mentioned topics are presented using theoretical perspectives. Particular attention is also paid to the analysis of social phenomena at different spatial scales and the interactions between these scales.
