This seminar accompanies the introductory lecture on theoretical philosophy. We will read and discuss classic texts from the history of philosophy, focusing on their central claims. The main questions of this introductory seminar range over the various aspects of theoretical philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. I will provide a reader of the texts, both English and German. The seminar serves as an introduction to academic writing as well.
