On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding, Freie Universität Berlin cordially invites you: the speaker is the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Herta Müller, who will be speaking on the topic of freedom. In 2009, the Romanian-German author was awarded the Berlin Prize for Literature of the Preußische Seehandlung Foundationand – associated therewith – was Heiner Müller Visiting Professor at Freie Universität Berlin. Other expected speakers include Michael Meister, Parliamentary State Secretary to the German Federal Minister of Education and Research and Steffen Krach, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education and Research of the Federal State of Berlin.
